Free, confidential HIV testing and counselling services delivered directly to communities across Oyo State — especially those hardest to reach.
The COF HIV Project implements community-based HIV Counselling and Testing (HCT) programmes across Oyo State. Our mission is to improve access to HIV services, promote early detection, and strengthen prevention efforts — particularly in underserved and hard-to-reach areas.
We deploy trained health workers to deliver integrated HIV services within communities, combining testing with health education to enable informed health decisions.
Our programmes operate collaboratively with state and local health authorities, government agencies, and community leaders to ensure sustainability and strengthen local health system ownership.
Our community HIV Counselling and Testing outreach covers five Local Government Areas in Ogbomoso, reaching communities such as Ibapon and Ikonifin village (Surulere LGA). Our HIV work has been delivered with OYOSACA (HIV prevention), ACOOMI (Community System Strengthening for HIV testing and counselling), APIN (PMTCT, Partner Notification Services, home-based care, HCT and GBV) and ARFH (economic empowerment of people living with HIV).
Trained health workers bring testing services directly to underserved communities, removing barriers to access.

Community feedback and data on testing and HIV prevalence guide how we adapt our outreach.
We build local capacity, empower community leaders and foster community ownership of health initiatives.
We break down stigma and misinformation through targeted campaigns, enabling communities to make informed health decisions.
